When the oppressive duo of 2020/21 are behind us, it will be time to celebrate; and what better way than to do it by putting on your best Country Road Shirt, spraying on a little CK One, cranking your Best of Technotronic mix tape on in your Datsun 180B. Pick up a sixer of Jimmy cans from the bottle-o as fuel for your one-hour nightclub queuing session (unless you are an exalted medallion holder of course), and then get ready to be told the place is full.
For this next instalment, team names will paying homage to the clubs we all (well most of us) went to back in the 90s - Warehouse, Metro, Chevron... well pretty much all of them have disappeared now. But we are bringing them back for the holding of the 8th Portsea Masters.
We be returning for the final leg of our affair with the RACV Cape Schanck Resort, which despite the eventual wind and rain that ensued in 2020, was enjoyed by all - Stevie even went to say it was his new favourite peninsula course!
Checking in at 10.30am on Sunday 13th February 2022, get ready to put on the shorts after a hot February Saturday night at the Portsea Pub.
This year's donations will be sent to the Victorian State Emergency Service. After Master PT Hicks was involved in a near-death tree-falling incident on the roads last year, they were the first to the scene to ensure his safety and that of the public.
We'll have an official photographer there again, and of course the meat tray sweepstakes will be back, as too all of the Longest Drive & Nearest-to-Pin competitions. So use the summer wisely, work on your piss-fitness and grab your clubs out and get practising!!
