2024 Champions: Tom Brownell & Pete Gaidzkar

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
2024 saw the playing of the 11th Portsea Masters - a long time away from the humble beginnings at the Cups in 2014. We has a fresh injection of players with quite a few regulars out. We had 10 teams, which was an increase on 2023.

We had great weather again this year, and a brand new clubhouse at St Andrews Beach GC - ranked the best public access course on the Australian mainland.

As the sun set, two previous champs were presented the Green Fezes by 2023 Champs Rob Gregory and Chairman JB. Congrats to Tom Brownell and Pete Gaidzkar on their maiden PM wins.
The Portsea Masters philosophy is simple: to get a great bunch of blokes to kick back together, and in the process forge the myths and legends of sporting memories for years to come. Once a year, this invitational tournament is held to see some magic shots, tons of balls lost, the odd dummy spit and eventually a team of two deserved winners who will adorn the famous Green Fezes and have their names etched in history on the Portsea Masters Shield.

2025 will see us back home at Portsea GC - and (it is said every year) promises to be the biggest one yet.
