Countdown to the 2015 Masters Begins

Winter has started its descent on the Mornington Peninsula, with mist rolling over the beaches and freezing winds arcing around the nooks and crags of the links at the Dunes. You rug up by the roaring log fire with a full glass of Shiraz, and you start to dream...

As you close your eyes, you can hear in the faint distance the sounds of darkest July approaching: the pithsch of a can of VB opening for breakfast, the crackle of a golf ball penetrating dense out-of-bounds forest, the parp from your opponent's arse just as you start your downswing, and the swoop of a flying putter into the sunset.... yes it's the Portsea Masters - back and bigger than ever in 2015.

Who will rise to the occasion this year to take the Green Fezes (now with matching jackets) from Steve & JB? History is waiting to be made in 11 weeks time. It's time to dust off the old clubs, get a few practice rounds in, and most importantly, lock in July 25-26 for yourself in the family diary.
